The Oxford Arts Council and the City of Oxford invite the community to an opening reception at Oxford’s City Hall. This will be the first of many exhibitions to be featured in City Hall’s newly established public gallery space. The reception will take place at 6 PM on February 6, 2025, and will mark the official debut of this exciting new venue for local art.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision of making Oxford a regional arts destination. The new public gallery is part of ongoing efforts by the City and the Arts Council to foster creativity and elevate the arts in Granville County.
The exhibition will showcase works by talented artists from Granville County and the wider region, featuring a variety of media and formats. Visitors can experience the creativity and diversity of the local arts community through this carefully curated collection.
The exhibition will run from February through the end of April 2025 and will be open to the public during normal business hours and during after-hours events at Oxford’s City Hall.
“We’re thrilled to open this new gallery space and to celebrate the incredible talent of artists in our region,” said Arts Council Chair Katja Hill. “This is a major milestone for Oxford as we continue to invest in the arts and build a vibrant cultural future.”
